Dr. David Aguilar Jr. holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering, with minors in Mathematics and Psychology, from the University of South Florida. His areas of research include Artificial Intelligence, Mobile Computing, and Educational Technology. He has taught at the University of South Florida in Tampa, Coastal Carolina University in Myrtle Beach, and now coordinates the Computer Science Undergraduate Degree program at Galen University here in Belize.
Teaching and Research
Dr. Aguilar is currently teaching courses in Programming, Computer Architecture, Operating Systems and Computer Graphics, as well as conducting research into the effectiveness of computer logic games as an educational tool for young children.
