Biography

Education: 
Dr. Hsun Chen holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration from AIU and an MBA from Galen University. Prior to completing his graduate studies, he received a B.Sc. in Accounting from the University of Belize.

Professional Interest

As an Adjunct Lecturer at Galen University, Dr. Chen’s research interests include accounting practices, taxation, finance, business and environment, business ethics, human behavior,
technology and innovation. Presently, he is a full-time Business Lecturer at the Corozal Junior
College and serves as a Thesis Advisor at the University of Belize.

In addition to Dr. Chen’s commitment in academia, he has served in the capacity of an Audit Officer at The Belize Bank Limited and an external Auditor at PKF Belize. In 2016, he received recognition from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) for being the Top Performer in the Caribbean in “F8 Audit and Assurance” exam.

Academic Focus
As an independent consultant providing business advisory and accounting services, Dr. Chen delivers accounting and other business courses in the Faculty of Business and Entrepreneurship.
