Marketing

Marketing is the processes of intentionally getting people interested in your product and services. Marketing includes creating, communicating, delivering, and exchanging offerings that have value for customers, clients, partners, and society at large.

Marketing is an essential function in profit and not-for-profit organizations. Its importance has increased with the exponential growth of e-commerce, e-business, and social media, and its importance is further highlighted as customer focus becomes a key marketing strategy.

Why Study Marketing?

Marketing graduates have opportunities to be self-employed or as team members of organizations across industries and organizations.

Graduates can pursue careers in advertising, sales, sales management, product development, strategic marketing management, digital marketing, e-commerce, and business ownership. Particular emphasis is placed on marketing research. Marketing research is the function that links the consumer, customer, and public to the marketer through information–information used to identify and define marketing opportunities and problems; generate, refine, and evaluate marketing actions; monitor marketing performance; and improve understanding of marketing as a process.
