ADJUNCT LECTURER

Justice Antoinette Moore is a judge in the Criminal Division of the Supreme Court of Belize. Justice Moore is also the trafficking in persons’ liaison judge.

Prior to being elevated to the bench, Justice Moore practiced law in Belize for 18 years, primarily representing the poor and marginalized in society. For many years, she also volunteered with the Human Rights Commission of Belize (HRCB), an NGO that promotes human rights education in communities across Belize.

Judge Moore has a Master’s degree in International Human Rights Law from Kellogg College, Oxford University in the UK. She earned her Bachelor of Arts from Lawrence University and her Juris Doctor degree from Loyola University in the United States and later obtained a Legal Education Certificate from the University of the West Indies in Jamaica.

Justice Moore has been an adjunct tutor at Galen University since 2017, teaching in the Criminal Justice Pathway.
